Fishing is not allowed at the lake – must have permit

This morning, we witnessed an enforcement officer issuing a penalty ticket to individuals caught fishing illegally at the lake.

Fishing here is not allowed without a permit, yet some still choose to ignore the rules.

What’s worse, many of these individuals leave behind rubbish — plastic, bait, and general waste — turning a clean, peaceful space into a mess for everyone else.

Rules are there for a reason: to protect the environment and ensure everyone can enjoy the lake.

If you’re coming here, respect the space:

• No fishing without a permit
• Clean up after yourself
• Don’t ruin it for others
