Morning Walk Turns Wild: Crows and a Biawak Encounter

At 8am this morning, Farah and I were out on our usual walk just past the Frasers Hotel when we were suddenly hit by a strong, unpleasant smell. Curious, we followed it—only to come across a striking and unexpected scene. A large number of crows had gathered, circling and watching as a dead biawak lay on the ground. To our astonishment, another monitor lizard was feeding on it. It was both shocking and strangely fascinating—a raw glimpse into nature unfolding right in the middle of our everyday surroundings.
