7:29AM Daily Walk in Putrajaya Ayer 8 | 2.91KM in Extreme Heat & Humidity
Today’s Daily Walk – 7:29AM | Putrajaya Ayer 8
This morning’s walk was extremely hot and humid, even at 7:29AM. The sun was already intense, and for most of the walk I found myself constantly searching for patches of shade along the pathway just to escape the heat for a moment.
As I passed the roundabout, I noticed a beautifully arranged collection of trees standing together in perfect harmony. In weather like this, the shade from trees almost feels like a blessing in itself, so I stopped to snap a quick photo and appreciate the scene.

For the first time, the tables and chairs were set out outside the soon-to-open Fraser Residence Putrajaya, and I took a picture of them too. Watching the area slowly come to life each week has been exciting. I believe the Frasers will officially open in July, and there is already a different atmosphere building around the lake.

Today’s walk covered 2.91KM and 4,447 steps under heavy humidity and strong morning sun.
By the end of the walk, even while sitting down for my coffee, the heat followed me. I actually had to change seats because the sun became too strong where I was originally sitting. Sometimes you really appreciate shade, air conditioning, and cool drinks on mornings like this.
Allah says:
“And He made for you shades from what He created…”
— Qur’an 16:81
And Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“The world is a place of passage, not a place of permanent comfort.”
Despite the heat, the walk was completed. Another morning by the lake, another reminder to appreciate the small blessings we often overlook.
