Today, Farah and I set out for our usual morning walk and made our way toward the new bridge. It’s coming along nicely—there’s been a lot of visible progress since the last time we passed by. Interestingly, it looks like the bridge is designed just for pedestrians, which should make it a peaceful crossing once it’s complete. We stopped to snap a few photos along the way.
Not long after, we bumped into our friends Amin, Saleem, and Saleem’s wife—always a pleasant surprise during these walks. Amin decided to walk back with us, which made the morning even more enjoyable.
We ended up at Zus Coffee by the lake, where I ordered Amin a latte, Farah chose an iced Americano, and I went for a hot Americano. We sat down, relaxed, and had a really good catch-up over coffee, enjoying both the conversation and the calm lakeside atmosphere.
A simple walk, but one filled with progress, good company, and great coffee.
