🍄 Mystery Mushrooms on Today’s Walk… Edible or Emergency Room?

On today’s morning walk, we stumbled across a cluster of mushrooms popping up out of nowhere — always a sign things are getting a bit wild out there.

They looked… tempting. But also like the kind of thing that could either be dinner… or your last decision.

Interestingly, the trees nearby had labels on them (very civilised), but sadly no helpful sign saying: “Yes, go ahead, fry these up” or “Absolutely not, walk away immediately.”

So now the question is — does anyone know what these are? And more importantly… are they edible, or should we admire them strictly from a safe distance?
